So I haven't updated this sucker in over a year. Wow. Guess I had better things to do, eh?

But now I don't.

I hope everyone's having a good summer. I, personally, am freaked about my upcoming college experience. For those that do not already know: No, I am not going to Texas A&M. It's NMSU for the next four years if my life. Why, you ask? Well, sometimes your dreams just aren't what life has planned. I'm content with that.

Life has been interesting to say the very least. Attending and graduating from Mayfield wasn't so bad. I wish my diploma was from Eastwood, but hey, 'least I've got one. In a weird way, transferring was one of the best things that could've happened to me. It proved that Casey and I do have a strong enough relationship to withstand most anything. It proved that I can make it in a foreign environment. Most of all, it proved who my true friends are. To those of you that have remembered that the road of communication runs both ways, I thank you. Y'all make me feel loved when I often feel forgotten. I wish each of you the very best in the rest of your lives. Underclassmen, don't screw up your high school career. Class of 2008, good luck.

Seeing as I just got back from two weeks in Florida, I am not looking forward to returning to work on Monday. Goodness knows I love my job, but people are beginning to get on my nerves (my boss in particular). I'm tired of people agreeing to cover someone else's shift only to forget to show up on time. Or show up at all, for that matter. I wanna go back to Disney World. Real life doesn't exist there.

Hey Sarah, guess what movie soundtrack I'm listening to right now.

This entry may sound like a total complaint fest, but I'm actually here to say that I love my life. Despite its flaws, I really do have it made. I'm going to school for basically nothing. I've got that best boy in the whole world to call mine. I've got killer friends from both of my high schools. I have a good job. My dogs are the best, the smart one and the retarded ones. And, I don't live in the land of humidity! Good grief, I wasn't sure how much longer I could withstand 92 degree temperatures with 90% humidity.

If anyone wants to do anything this summer, (catch a movie, go to lunch, or something) give me call. If I ain't at work, I've basically got nothing to do. Except housework. And that's no fun. 'Night all!

I Love Life...

Ya know, this was quite possibly the best weekend of my entire life. Despite the fact that my time with Kari is running out, I was able to have a lot of fun the past few days. First off, Casey and I had an official "date" on Friday night. Granted, his family went with us, but we still had a good time. We saw "Bridge to Teribithia". Dang, that movie was sad. But yeah, I got to spend time with my boy. 'Twas fun.

Yesterday was spectacular. First off, my beautiful collie is healthy as a horse. That was good news to me, cuz I was little worried about her hips. But she's good to go. Plus, she's a fantastic dog. Piper got along famously with everyone at the clinic staff pinic today. But I'm getting ahead of myself. Saturday got even better. Kari gave me her/ now my hedgehog to join my little menagerie at home. =D Then, I GOT A RAISE! Wh00t!!! Which is good because I have animal expenses now thanks to Piper and Penny.

Finally, today was the clinic staff pinic, so I got to see all of my work buddies at one time. I met Kari's mom too. It was bunch of fun talking and laughing with Dani, Kari, and Markie. It was just great. Having Piper there made it even better of course. I love my dog...and my life...

Man oh man, I haven't updated this sucker in a long time. But yeah, I've had an eventful break thus far. Went to work today. A freakin' humongo dog ripped a hole in scrub top. I was not very happy. The tech that I was working with was pissed. I thought he was gonna some kind of fit, he was so angry. I don't blame him though. Damn dog.

I am sore as heck. My legs are covered in welts. Good thing I love pellet gun fights. Freakin' adrenaline rush. Painful, but fun. Not to mention the fact that I ran into a shrub, a big one mind you. Head on, pretty much. Yes, my gracefulness surprises even me sometimes. It's just a tad on the difficult side to run around my backyard in the dark, while wearing sunglasses. Gimme a break, my parents wouldn't let me take part in the war if I didn't have eye protection. Sunglasses were about as good as it was gonna get. Stupid? Yes. Worth it? Most definitely. I haven't had that much fun in a long time.

I got some cool gifts too. Amber is my flipping favorite person right now for buying me a Texas A&M Santa hat. I love it! Actually, I adore Isaac right now too for getting me an A&M cap. Stevie got me a Jack Russell purse. And all of the stuff Casey got me is great too. Judson gave me the Dog Bible that I've been waiting forever to buy and some new listening material. In a nutshell, I cleaned up at the party and on the last day of the semester. I love my friends. They're fantastic. I love life. It's good. Merry Christmas all!!! I'm telling you now, cuz I'ma be at work on Monday and my grandparents' house for most of the remainder of the day. So yeah, Merry Christmas!

I'm really tired, but due to the inability to sleep, I'm going to update this ole thing. Life has been rather great in most terms for me. Homecoming was fantastic. The dance itself was not quite up to par, but everything else was a blast for. Best of all, we won the dang game! Casey got me a gorgeous mum if I do say so myself. I love it. And him... But yeah, homecoming is good stuff. I loved the Burning of the E. My last one, I'm sad to say. It hit me hard too. I was perfectly fine, even after they lit the darn thing. Then Stevie had to go and say "Two down, two more to go". That's when it hit me like a sack of bricks. Yes ladies and gentlemen, I got a bit on the misty side. Not sobbing, but there were definitely some tears here and there. I'm gonna miss you all when the time comes for me to go and for some of you to go...

But enough of that. Far too depressing. Much like this past Thursday's game. Egh. That was terrible. Studying in the stands during a pitiful excuse for a football game is not fun. Dang UTEP had to go and win today's game. Oh well. At least my poor NMSU Aggies were slaughtered like they were predicted to be. They went down with dignity. But on the other hand, my University of Texas Agriculture and Mechanics (aka Texas A&M) Aggies won their game! Against Texas Tech at that.

Or so I thought...The news had already broadcasted that the Aggies won cuz the game was almost over and ti would take a miracle for Tech to score again. Well, miracles happen. With 24 stinkin' seconds left, the Red Raiders scored one last touchdown, snatching the victory from my beloved Aggies...it was just not my week for football...

Work was interesting today to say the least. Brand new clinic okay. We've barely been in there for a month and already a dog has torn two, not one, but two holes in the wall. Right down to the wooden studs and everything. Tore clean through the plaster and drywall. Dr. C was a might on the peeved side today. And I must say, I don't blame her. But on a high note, I can now say that I have seen Sphynx cats in the flesh. Bald, wrinkly flesh. You all know Mr. Bigglesworth from "Austin Powers". Well, now I have seen kitten versions of him. They were cute in a very ugly sort of way.

That's all for now folks.

Dang, it felt good to do that again. Beautiful, isn't she?

It's been a good long while since I've updated this ole thing, so I figure it's time to wipe off a few of the cobwebs. Besides, that essay I'm supposed to be writing has fried my brain too much for me to do anything else.

School as a whole has been alright. My social life is fantastic. I've got fantastic friends and a great boyfriend. Gosh I adore him. Anyway, classes this year suck. The only decent ones are band and yes...ROTC. English is too freaking hard for me to enjoy and History follows the same path. Physics is yuck. And you all know how I feel about Pre-Cal. Speech is absolutely terrible. That woman doesn't have a clue as to what she is doing, and I can't stand it. I swear, I am so sarcastic with that lady I'm probably gonna wind up in the office before the end of the semester for talking back. *shrug* She deserves every snide comment I've given her.

But yeah, thank God for Judson and Domino in Pre-Cal, everyone in band, Judson, Sarah, Chris, and Jojo in Physics, Luis, Crys, Jessica, Amber, Jessica G., Sylvia, and eveyone else in History, Cassie, Jon, Jacob, Abby, and everyone else in English, Bri, Katie, and everyone in ROTC, and 'manda, Sam, Stephen, Isaac, Dylan, and Christina in Speech. These people all keep me sane, or insane. Whatever.

Being a quartermaster is great. Eric, Casey, Stevie, Clarissa, Melissa, and I spend pretty much all of our free time in that uniform room. It's become our haven. It's perfect too. It's in the fine arts building, but it's away from the chaos of it. Things get hectic when we're handing out and taking uniforms and hats, but it's fun all the same. I've got probably the best job in band available.

And speaking of jobs, I have one! I'm working as a Junior Tech at the small animal veterinary clinic where I live. It's freaking great. I do a lot of dirty work, but I also get to do a bunch ofinteresting stuff. I've learned a lot and seen a lot. I got to watch my own dog get spayed, and a beagle have puppies. The rest of the staff is awesome, and Dr. C and Dr. M are the best bosses ever. We're moving into a new building too. It's about 3 times bigger than the old one. It's gonna be great.

EHS finally had its first football game on Friday, and you all know what that means: the first band half-time show!!! It was so much fun. I saw a couple friends from my elementary school days that go to the school that we played that night. I screamed so much that I couldn't talk at all yesterday. Friday night games are a rush. I love it. And we won too!

Well, that's all for now. I really oughta go to sleep...

Geez, I'm freaking bored. Guess I'll update considering I can't do anything else on the stupid school computers. Well, the band trip was couple weeks ago. It was freaking awesome. I kinda wish I'd gotten a better bus, but at least I had Casey, Clarissa, and the rest of their posse. They were my ultra cool bus buddies. Anyway, the baseball game was a lot more fun than I thought it would be. I actually had a blast, and Sara and I got scared out of our minds. Dang, that guy was freaky... The mall was great. I got a husky that I named Juneau at Build-A-Bear. Yes, I am a total nerd. Get over it. Medieval Times was cool as expected. The acting sucked though. It made the show rather funny if I do say so myself. Six Flags was fun even though we almost got rained out. We spent a lot more time in the hotel this year compared to last year. That okay at some points. Eventually it just got to be really boring. But nevertheless, the trip was great. I had the best roomies ever! We stayed up way later than we should have every night. Geez, I'm glad I'm not in jazz band. Waking up early would not have been fun. So yeah, another one of the greatest and most fun experiences of my teenage life.

As of late, I guess I've been feeling kinda out of it. I can't really explain it though. I don't really know what's going on with me. I had a sort of nervous break-down last Friday. Dang, those aren't fun. I'm just glad that I have friends in Symphonic band that care about me. I just need to snap out of this bizarre mood I've been in. The weirdest part is that I can't even begin to decipher what's been going through my mind. I've been having really vivid dreams lately. It's so strange. I don't know. It'll pass...

Maybe we're different, but we're still the same
We all got the blood of Eden, running through our veins
I know sometimes it's hard for you to see
You come between just who you are and who you wanna be

If you feel alone, and lost and need a friend
Remember every new beginning, is some beginning's end

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you're exactly where you're supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

When everybody's in, and you're left out
And you feel you're drowning, in a shadow of a doubt
Everyones a miracle in their own way
Just listen to yourself, not what other people say

When it seems you're lost, alone and feeling down
Remember everybody's different
Just take a look around

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you're exactly where you're supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

Be who you want to, be who you are
Everyones a hero, everyones a star

When you wanna give up, and your hearts about to break
Remember that you're perfect, God makes no mistakes

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you gotta believe
That right here right now, you're exactly where you're supposed to be
Welcome, to wherever you are

Man, oh man, I have been waiting for this day all freakin’ school year. Billy finally blew something up in Chemistry class. We were creating oxygen during a lab, and Billy held the test tube over the bunsen burner too long. I barely got out of the danger zone in time. We’d done the experiment like three times already, so I went to my desk to do the write-up for it. Not even five minutes later, you hear this loud crack. I turn around and there’s Billy on the floor. It was freakin’ hilarious. Fortunately, he’s okay. It wouldn’t have been funny if he’d been seriously hurt. I’m not that sadistic.

Agh! It finally hit me that tomorrow is the big day (for us cadets, anyway). Yep, good ole DAI Inspection is here yet again. Yuck. And with this doggone leg of mine, I’m gonna be limping instead of marching. That;s only mildly embarrassing. The hardest part is keeping up with everyone even though I’m the one calling the cadence. I know that sounds weird, but I was kinda having a hard time with it today. Darn those rear marches! Okay, okay, I’m done venting now. Other than that, I had a good day. Especially cuz Boesse wasn’t here.

You scored as Angel. Angel: Angels are the guardians of all things, from the smallest ant to the tallest tree. They give inspiration, love, hope, and positive emotion. They live among humans without being seen. They are the good in all things, and if you feel alone, don't fear. They are always watching. Often times they merely stand by, whispering into the ears of those who feel lost. They would love nothing more then to reveal themselves, but in today's society, this would bring havoc and many unneeded questions. Give thanks to all things beautiful, for you are an Angel.
